The Restaurant Hood System with PSP Makeup Air Package comprises several key components designed to provide efficient and reliable performance. Constructed from heavy-gauge 18-gauge 430 stainless steel, the Type 1 Hood is engineered for use over cooking equipment to effectively remove heat, smoke, and grease-laden vapors.
Included in the package is an Exhaust Fan with a heavy-gauge aluminum housing, conduit post through windband, weather-resistant disconnect switch enclosure, integral drain hole, permanently lubricated motor bearings, and quick-release hood latches. The Supply Fan features a galvanized steel housing, low-noise operation, and heavy-duty ball bearings suitable for temperature ranges from -65°F to +250°F, housed in a weather-proof cabinet for outdoor roof mounting.
The system is designed with a PSP (Perforated Supply Plenum) to allow use with a fresh air fan and has a built-in 3-inch Air Gap on the back of the hood. Additional accessories include a 2-piece mounting curb for wall or roof installation, stainless steel grease baffle filters, pre-wired light(s), variable speed control (for 4-foot to 9-foot hood sizes), and hanging brackets.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, this hood system is UL listed, NSF approved, and built in accordance with NFPA96 standards. All components are manufactured in the USA, and the support team is available to assist customers in selecting the right hood for their restaurant kitchen.
The product line offers a range of sizes, from 4 feet to 12 feet, with corresponding exhaust fan and supply fan specifications to accommodate the varying CFM requirements. Variable speed control is included for the 4-foot to 9-foot hood sizes, while the larger 10-foot to 12-foot models do not have this feature.
Regardless of the selected size, each hood system comes equipped with stainless steel grease baffle filters, pre-wired lights, a stainless grease cup, and hanging brackets.
